Ghanaian young champ Edward Sarpong has been given his second call up to the Black Meteors ahead of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Esperance de Lagos left back was part of team that won the second leg of qualifies against Algeria some weeks back.

“I am delighted to (be) part of the team again, to represent my country and to defend mother Ghana. My colleagues and I will go the extra mile to win this tournament and go on to play in the Olympic games in 2020”.

The team will continue with their training on Monday morning.

The U23 Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Egypt from the 8th – 22nd November; the Cairo International stadium will host all games.
