African football newcomers will be looking forward to book an historic place in the 2019-2020 season of the CAF Confederations Cup in their trip to seasoned campaigners Young Africans of Tanzania on Sunday 27th of October, 2019.

Pyramids Ghanaian import, John Antwi is set to be as influential as ever as African football debutants, Pyramids, travel to Tanzania to battle it out with Young Africans in a last gasp effort to get into the lucrative CAF Confederations Cup group stage.

Antwi has already bumped three goals for Pyramids in the CAF Confederations Cup this season and will be looking forward to adding to his tally this weekend. He is one of the best foreign imports in Egypt at the moment if not the best.

John Antwi is the first foreign player to score for three different Egyptian clubs in CAF’s inter-club competition. He previously scored for Egyptian powerhouses Ismaily in 2013 and Al Ahly in 2015 including his current employee rounding up the hatrick club.

The Pyramids marksman is the leading foreign scorer in the history of the Egyptian topflight with a staggering 68goals, leapfrogging Ghanaian compatriot Ernest Papa Arko in the process who has also gunned 61goals in a fourteen season stint in the Egyptian league.

Pyramids will travel to slug it out with Young Africans of Tanzania on the 27th of October, 2019. If the Egyptians are to stand any chance of progressing into the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup, John Antwi will be an integral part in goal supply in the two legged affair.
