I want these words of mine to live to the test of a new generation/At least to ease and give them a relief when time keeps slippering by them… This is how Daniel Kwame Zah AKA SEFASHI POET begins his latest poem ‘Goodbye Yesterday’
‘Goodbye Yesterday’ tells people to let go of the past that will be a destruction to the present and future. And to press on to the future with hope.
‘Sefashi Poet’ is a poet and spoken word artiste reading Communication Studies at the Ghana Institute of Journalism and ‘Goodbye Yesterday’ is his first poem with an official video, although he has other poems. In an exclusive interview with Campus360gh, he revealed that he wants his audience through this poem to ‘gather hope and forge forward for a new day. The future is what’s ahead not what we’ve passed through’.
‘Sefashi Poet’ was the winner of World Poet Laureate (Youngest Ghanaian) last year at the University of Ghana and has performed on many television programs.
