KNUST SRC inaugurates a 10-member planning committee for 60th-anniversary celebration

Master Samuel Sesah, President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has initiated a 10-member planning committee for the celebration of the 60th-anniversary of the students’ council.

Urging members of the committee on the task ahead of them, he demanded members of the committee draw up a plan for the celebration of the SRC.

The committee will be tasked with drawing up a blueprint and structure for the celebration of the anniversary of the SRC”, the statement reads.

The 10-member planning committee of the 60th anniversary will be chaired by the vice president of the KNUST SRC, Morris Effa.

Other members of the committee include representatives from the Executive Council, Parliament, NUGS, and Judicial Committee.

The secretary to the planning committee is the KNUST SRC General Secretary, Stephanie O. Prempeh.

The rest are Sabrina Ameyaw (NUGS Representative), Rabiatu Siaka, Osei Fosu Solomon, Doreenda Delali Kponor-all elected executives of the SRC.

Representatives from the SRC parliament are Kofi Boakye, Victory Oyet, Darcosta Sarfo Yeboah, Judicial council rep, and the Public Relations Officer of the SRC, Charles Tengan Lwanga.
