The Ghanaian Language Students’ Association (GLASA- KNUST) has rolled out a schedule for the annual GLASA week celebration activities. The one-week celebration which is themed, “THE ROLE OF THE LOCAL LANGUAGES IN THE FIGHT AGAINST THE CORONA VIRUS INFECTIOUS DISEASE” will start on Monday, 14th June, 2021 to Sunday, 20th June, 2021.
The first day of the week celebration will commence with the official launching of the program, followed by a public lecture, an inter-level debate session, GLASA Smartest, women’s day, a seminar/skills fair and finally sealed with thanksgiving service on Sunday, 20th June, 2021.
Also in their year plan is a three day trip to the Volta Region from July 2 to July 4. The Ticket which goes for a cool Ghc 300.00 includes transportation, hotel reservation trip fee and breakfast/buffet.
Tourist sites include Sajuna Beach Resort, Wli Waterfalls and Afadjato. Other Side Attractions are Karaoki Night, Swimming, Socialization Boat Riding, Horse Riding and Bon Fire. A ticket can be purchase from the contacts indicated below on the official flyer.
