The Union also sought the Ministry’s intervention through private-public partnership to increase the accommodation facilities on the campuses as a way of regulating the demand pull inflation of the hostel prices.
The Minister took the opportunity to educate the leadership of the Union on Government’s Housing Policies to combat the over 2 million housing deficit in the country.
He also charged the Union to strive to be very independent.
