The KNUST Chapter of the Ghana Institutions of Surveyors Students Society has released an official communique to Saturday’s program dubbed “Building and Inspiring Surveyors “.
The programme which is the first of it kind to hit the walls of KNUST will have two renowned industry players of the fraternity mount the podium to inspire and build the next generation of Surveyors in the Construction and estate Industry.
First on the list of the speakers is Surv David Nartey Korda Esq QS Chair.
Surv. Korda is a Lecture cum Quantity Surveyor at the KNUST Development office as well as a practising lawyer with Desewu Law Consult. His practice areas include Arbitration, Dispute Resolution & Mediation, Commercial Law, Construction Law, Corporate Law, Real Estate, Trusts and Estates.
The other speaker, Ama Serwaa is an MSc holder in Development Policy and Planning. She studied BSc land Economy as an undergraduate after bagging a Diploma in Estate Management. Madam Ama Serwaa is a MEMBER of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (MGHIS), an Affiliate Member Of European Real Estate Society ( ERES), Affiliate Member of International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) and an Affiliate member of Royal Institute of Chartered surveyors (RICS).
Madam Ama Serwaa still holds a member card of African Real Estate Society ( AFRES), VES Chair of the Ashanti Regional Branch of Gh IS, a Chartered Valuer, Senior Land Administration Officer of Lands Commission, an Old Student of YAGSS and most importantly married and blessed with three children.
The program will take place at the KNUST Engineering Auditorium Today at exactly 9:30 am.
