Master Samuel Sesah, a 5th year Doctor of Optometry student has been declared winner of the 2021 KNUST SRC Presidential Elections. He polled 8194 of the total votes, leaving his two contenders Bright Emmanuel Ampofo and Appiah Selassie Kwame Jake with a paltry of 488 and 526 votes respectively.

Samuel’s quest in serving the good students of KNUST could not manifest into reality after he lost woefully  to his predecessor Master Adu Baah Charles on his first attempt in 2019. He, however, re-gathered momentum and joined the race in 2020, and had his way through.

The 2021 KNUST SRC elections will forever remain an indelible mark in the history books of students politics, due to the speciality with which it was conducted.

Court rulings were squashed by the Dean of Students, propaganda messages were flooded, and finally the students have spoken.
