First Class Honours graduands and all the Postgraduate graduands are invited to be physically present for the event. The rest of the graduands will follow the proceedings of the event via Zoom (virtual) platform. The graduands are advised to bring along their face masks and wear them throughout the ceremony.
Also, the University wishes to advise graduands not to come along with their guests. This is to avoid overcrowding at the event.
Payment of Congregation Fees
Graduands (Undergraduates and Graduates) are required to pay an amount of Two Hundred and Ninety Ghana Cedis (GHS290.00) as Congregation fees. Graduation fees should be paid into the Graduation Fees Account of the University for Development Studies at the National Investment Bank, before or by November 13, 2020. Payment can be made at any National Investment Bank branch in the Country.
A duplicate copy of the pay-in-slip should be submitted at the point of collection of certificates on the Campus after the ceremony. Graduands are advised not to post the duplicate copies, but rather bring them along when they are coming to pick their certificates. Graduands attending the ceremony will be expected to make their arrangements for transportation, accommodation and meals.
The dress code is strictly formal attire and the academic gown. Graduands who do not adhere to this will not be permitted to participate in the Ceremony.
Issuance of Certificates
Graduands who are to participate in the face-to-face Congregation will be issued certificates on the same day. The rest of the graduands can pick their certificates from Monday, November 16, 2020.
