The UDS closed its campuses in reponse to the President’s directive on the fight against COVID-19.
A release by the Central SRC of the University for Development Studies (UDS) underscored the obvious in saying“it does not seem that we can go back to school in the nearest available time, which has demanded the need to employ online learning as the means for the University Community to complete academic work for the second trimester.”
On the matter of e-Learning: “In commitment to the implementation of the e-learning system, the University management held a stakeholder meeting with the SRC of the four UDS campuses to address some concerns of students regarding the system. One of the major concern of students was who will bear the data cost? The SRC in their letter stated that the school has collaborated with MTN and Vodafone to zero rate the e-learning platform.
